Fabretto Today
Fabretto is comprised of three legal entities: the Fabretto Children's Foundation in the United States, La Familia Padre Fabretto in Nicaragua, and Fundación Fabretto in Spain. We work together towards a common mission: to enable impoverished Nicaraguan children and their families in underserved communities break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential through programs promoting nutrition, health, education, community and character development. We serve over 6,000 children and their families from six Fabretto centers and 35 public elementary schools.
The Fabretto Children’s Foundation (FCF) is a registered US 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 1993 based in Arlington, VA. Our goal is to increase awareness of the plight of impoverished Nicaraguan children and to raise financial support for Fabretto programs. This website is hosted by FCF for the benefit of our U.S. based donors and volunteers.
La Familia Padre Fabretto (FPF) is a registered Nicaraguan non-profit that implements the majority of Fabretto program offerings. For details on these programs visit Programs.
Fundación Fabretto (FF) is a registered Spanish non-profit established in 2003 in Madrid, Spain to broaden support through grassroots fundraising and access to Spanish and other European program funding sources.
