Friends of Fabretto Trip - February 2010
Each year, we are happy to host our Friends of Fabretto Trip to Nicaragua. This amazing travel experience is a great opportunity to see some of the real beauty of Nicaragua, visit our six centers, some of the rural schools we support, meet the students, teachers and staff, and see our programs in action. Child Sponsors will have the opportunity to meet and spend time with their sponsored child! Anyone and everyone is welcome! We promise you a moving, uplifting, and inspiring experience.
Trip participation is limited to 20 people, so sign up soon! The 2010 itinerary is:
Friday, February 12
- Arrival, group dinner & overnight in Managua
- Tour of our Managua central office & warehouse
- Visit to schools serving La Chureca: the Managua city dump
- Visit to San Isidro Children's Center, Farm and Rural schools
- Overnight in Managua
- Visit to Somoto Children's Center and Valentine's Day Lunch
- Overnight in Cusmapa
- Visit to Cusmapa Children's Center & Rural Schools
- Overnight in Cusmapa
- Visit to Quebrada Honda & Esteli Children's Centers
- Overnight in Managua
- Departure
The fee for trip participation is $600 per individual or $1,050 per couple. This cost includes lodging, meals and ground transportation from arrival at Managua airport on 2/12 through departure on 2/17. Aifare is not included.
